Blackberry Pearl Tip: Connect Deeper on Every Calls

Part of heaving a good conversation with somebody over the phone is the ability to recall past good interactions, and bring up relevant information. Not just business information, but information that will benefit that relationship.

How can this be done?

If you have use a Blackberry, like the Pearl that I have, you can get a Bluetooth ear piece or a headset and when a call comes in, you answer and at the same time on the screen you go into the Phone Book and bring up that callers entry. And from this entry, you can read any information that might help you connect on deeper level.

For Example

Let’s say you have a friend that you only talk to so often, but from previous conversations you know that one of his odd hobbies is reading old western novels. This is something that is dear to him, but not many people know about, but in the Notes section of his phone book entry it says that. So when you’re winding down the call, ask about the recent novel he read. You’ll stand out!
