Zend Studio for PHP

I’ve been looking for a replacement for Dreamweaver that works on Linux. Zend Studio was one of the programs that was recommended to me. So far it’s working out ok, except for a two things: 1) Java still sucks up a lot of resources and hogs the system and 2) No “preview” or “design view”.

Starting With Ubuntu

I’ve been using Linux on servers for many years, now I’m switching my office PC to Ubuntu. It will be a dual boot system with XP and Ubuntu until I can move all of my systems and processes to the Ubuntu Linux.

Canon PowerShot SD1000 Ordered

The Canon PowerShot SD1000 has been getting some good reviews, so I ordered one. I’m going to give it some serious testing during the Florida vacation.
